Component Description#

Purpose of Inspirational Teaser#

This component may be used to promote the Permanent Assortment (and the theme worlds) on the startpage and content pages. Objective is sales of the permanent assortment and to keep the customer in the same funnel (conversion). This means the focus is on shoppable products, not solely informative content (e.g. Ratgeber/guides; Rezepte). Added value for customers: Browsing, inspiration, informative content.

  • Brands at Lidl (focus brands: Silvercrest, Parkside, Livarno Home, Esmara, Crivit)
  • Permanent Assortment (focus categories: Home & Living, DIY, Elektronics, Sport, Textile & Fashion; tbd. Update von AKM)

Teaser tile is made out of 4 Components:

1 Teaser Image#

  • Image that represents products that are linked in Example Product Images.
  • Mood images (focus on mood & emotional component) matching respective assortment
  • Asset should be maintained as static image with 852 x 638px

2 Example Product Images#

  • You need to maintain 3 products via CMS by adding the 3 PDP links.
  • No assets need to be maintained, as the first image of the image gallery from the PDP will be presented automatically.

3 Headline#

  • Catchy & engaging, emotional customer speech à Differentiation of other and mainly informativ text
  • Maximum of ~ 48 character

4 Subline#

  • It is an optional element of the teaser. Meaning it may be removed from the display.
  • Maximum of ~ 64 character

What if the product is sold out?

  • Sold out products remain visible and are still linked to the corresponding PDP.

However, based on studies there should be emphasis on clear wording for the costumers. Do not just mention "online", also use words like "permanent", "always available", etc.
